During the year 2011, the world came crashing down. People died... well, most of them came back, but not with same feelings, hopes, dreams, judgments, and expressions. They became more cannibalistic, if you will. As the years passed, they continued to flourish without fault, but they were far from humanity.

Now in the year 2076, October and her friends live in a place they call The Walls, a place they've lived in since the days they were born. Someone purposely shut them out of the world to keep them safe, or so the signs, scientists, and staff workers say. They know only what they're told, which isn't much, but a few of them are different, withholding their immunities, and it's only a matter of time before they realize what's really happening around them.
